We are thankful for Matt Davis, who guides the men through their final preparations on Thursday nights before they are commissioned and return to the world. During Phase 3, they are discovering that the Christian journey resembles a marathon rather than a quick sprint. Matt emphasizes the importance of applying Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Just like our personal journeys, if we fail to center our hearts on Christ, we risk a slow fade. Matt takes the time to equip the men with essential skills in budgeting, time management, dating and marriage relationships, phone usage, prayer, purpose, and living on mission with God.
